CORPORATE PROFILE & EXPERIENCE

Najla Zayanti Zainuddin obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons.) from the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam in 2019. She completed her pupillage and began her legal career at a full-service law firm in Shah Alam, Selangor, where she gained exposure to various areas of legal practice, primarily civil litigation and corporate law. After nearly four years of practice at the Shah Alam firm, she transitioned to a corporate law firm in Petaling Jaya, where she practiced for almost a year and a half before joining Ashraf & Partners as a Senior Associate.

Throughout her pupillage and legal career, Najla Zayanti has gained extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters, including drafting agreements and providing accurate legal advice to a diverse range of clients, particularly in the healthcare and media industries. 

In her civil litigation practice, she has represented clients across all tiers of the Malaysian courts, managing high-profile defamation cases and complex contractual disputes involving celebrities and prominent figures.

​Some of Najla Zayanti's notable achievements include:-

A.    General Corporate

        (i)       Facilitating the contract signing between Selgate Healthcare Sdn Bhd and Jovian Pharma Sdn Bhd;​

        (i)       Securing a full trial victory in Nurwati v. Sajat (Contract Case);

        (ii)      Achieving a full trial victory in Ustaz Abu Syafiq v. Hamidah Rapaee (Defamation Case);

 ​       (iii)     Successfully setting aside a committal application filed by the Delegation of Nurses (DON) against Linda Rafar         

                  (Defamation Case); and

​

        (iv)     Successfully setting aside a Judgment in Default (JID) entered by Farah Mendoza against Zarina Anjoulie

                  (Defamation Case).
