Mohd Ashraf Ramli is the Managing Partner of Ashraf & Partners. Embarking on a dynamic career in the realm of corporate law, Ashraf stands as a senior professional with a wealth of specialized knowledge in corporate matters and business advisory, with a particular emphasis on business and commercial & merger and acquisition including restructuring and wealth management advisory. Ashraf has represented a number of corporations in connection with takeovers, acquisitions of shares, business and assets, and joint ventures.
Presently at the forefront of a high-profile restructuring deal, Ashraf is playing a pivotal role in maximizing the profitability of a healthcare group. This multifaceted undertaking involves a comprehensive understanding of both the healthcare industry and the intricate legal dynamics of corporate restructuring.
He has also represented various clients in cross-border transactions including an acquisition of hotel in the UK, setting-up business in Indonesia and assisting foreign companies (from the US, the UK, Dubai, Germany and Singapore) to invest and/or do business in Malaysia.
Ashraf also advises on estate management matters particularly on the corporate structure of family’s businesses and succession planning by implementing special mechanism of Waqaf, Hibah and Trust. He is presently involved in one of the largest estate matters in Malaysia amounting to RM1 billion assets left by the deceased.
